We did it! 🥳🙌

We'd like to say a huge thank you to all parents, carers, community members and staff who donated to our Teesside at Christmas 2025 donation drive which we held at our Rosedene Redcar nursery.

Thanks to you all, we were able to donate over 60 parcels to those families across Teesside who otherwise may not have had anything under their tree this Christmas.

Teesside at Christmas 2025 - you made this happen 💙

Every year I am blown away by the kindness of people across Teesside, but this year has felt extra special. We are a small charity with almost no budget, run in spare hours, but held up by people who simply refuse to let others go without.

Because of you, this year we have:
🎁 Packed and delivered around 1100 gift bags and boxes
🎁 Given over 100 extra gifts to people in real need
🎁 Sent out 100 food hampers

Behind every one of those numbers is a person who will wake up on Christmas Day to something they were not expecting. And we aren't talking just a single gift. You packed full shoeboxes and gift bags with care, thinking about the person who would open them. You chose things that would make someone feel remembered, not forgotten. That is the real magic of Christmas.

We only ever ask for what we are referred. We do not collect “extras” to store away or just give away like a free-for-all. Your donations go straight to people who have been identified as needing support, in our own communities, right now. In a world that can feel harsh and unfair, you have helped make sure that families here feel seen, valued, and included.

This year we have been able to support:
RCBC - Children Social Care, Nite Light CIC, TEES, Grangetown Generations, Dave Saunders Football Academy, TCD Middlesbrough & Teesside, Nepacs, Linthorpe Community Primary School, The Chris Cave Foundation, Rosedene Nurseries and more...

We have also had incredible support from local businesses who chose to stand with us and rally their staff, customers, and friends:
Normanby Court, Middlesbrough, ArtAV, Rosedene Nurseries, Priory Woods School and Arts College, Newcastle Building Society (Stokesley), Vision Training North East, Eton Environmental Group, ARC Stockton, SUEZ UK, Hope Netball Club, The Devonport Middleton One Row, Tees Valley Combined Authority, Boro Runners, UKSBS, The Grenfell Club, Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council

Teesside always shows up. We look after our own. When times are hard, this community pulls together so that no one is left behind and fewer people feel alone. That spirit is what Teesside at Christmas is built on, and you prove it year after year.

To every individual, every family, every workplace, every group that donated, collected, shared posts, organised, sorted, lifted, drove, and cared – thank you. You have given more than gifts. You have given people a reason to feel hopeful this Christmas.

Yesterday has left me feeling proud, tired, and very grateful.

To everyone who came out to donate, thank you. You did something important today.

To our volunteers, there are no words big enough. You have sorted, lifted, carried, checked, organised, and cared from the moment this appeal began. Because of you, families across Teesside will wake up to gifts they did not expect, at a time they really need to feel seen.

A huge thank you to Gemma, Aimee, Seren, Denise, Dean, Lucy, Joe, Tracey, Emma, Kirsty, Rob & Margaret for standing beside me all the way through this year’s appeal and today in particular.

You have shown what community looks like. You turned up. You stayed. You worked until the last bag was moved and the last label was written. Teesside at Christmas exists in the way it does because of people like you.

From my heart, thank you for giving your time, your strength, and your care to families you may never meet.

Our collection day is finished. We are now set up for the official drop off day tomorrow. The amount of bags we move and have to move again tomorrow is back breaking. We are exhausted. But tomorrow is a new day. Thank you so much to all the incredible organisations and individuals who have donated this year. We are full of gratitude. ❤️❤️ We had a large van full from bottom to top, front to back. Thank you!

These are verified referrals from our own community. No fake campaigns, no mystery destinations, no churned labels to inflate demand. We only accept real names from real partners who know the families.

Our promise stands. Because everyone deserves a Christmas to remember. Every single donation stays local. We look after our own first.

We have 23 days until drop off day. In one day we check, sort, and send donations straight to our referral partners so gifts reach people before Christmas. We can only do that if you help now.
