Just letting our local community know that
Panther Girls FC are to hold a 3 day event.
Thursday 11th June. 3pm-6pm
Saturday 13th June. 8am -12pm 1pm - 6pm
Sunday 14th June. 8am - 12pm 1pm - 6pm
Parking is being arranged by the club.
Expect Charrington Road to be busy.
Friends of Linear Park have been assured that a litter pick is completed during each respective day.

Our Ladies have cleared where the tree had fallen. Made a bug hotel and seating.
Overgrown pathways were cleared by Malcome, Peter, and Iain.
Andy, Charlie, Dave and Nigel completed community help cutting back Ivy, and the sun came out!
Well done all.

Some house and car keys were found on Saturday. We think it maybe to a Hyundi. Please get in contact via message if you think they are yours

Great to see that the grass cutting contractors to WBC have been back to Linear Park and succeeded in doing almost all East, Central and West Linear Park and all in one go. Pleased to see that the fruit orchard ( near Hawkesbury drive) and the eastern half of Eastern LP ( east of Burbidge Close) which had been missed out last time have also been done. Thank you and well done. If you are aware of areas not done then please use the “Report a problem” page of WBC website. By all means mention it here as well . Folp are always happy to supplement and complement the contractors but not to replace them as substitutes or reserves !
