Pagwps- Friends of Grove Wood Primary School PAGWPS is a registered Charity (no 1094801). Our main goal for the upcoming year is to continue to grow Grove Wood’s sense of community. Jo O'Shea

Our objective is to raise funds to help the school provide extra resources for the children by bringing together parents/carer's/grandparents/friends of grove wood and teachers working towards a common goal. The primary objective of Friends of Grove Wood Primary School is to enrich our children’s school experience through parental involvement and to enhance communication between parents and the sc

hool. We have a variety of events planned to engage both the parent and pupils. We are excited about several new events over the coming months and look forward to starting new traditions! We know that all of our parents are busy with the demands of everyday life, but we also know that even a small contribution of your time and energy can significantly contribute to our success. We welcome your energy, ideas, talents and contributions. We look forward to meeting you at one of our events soon.

Today you should have received an email about the Easter Rainbow Raffle we are running next half term.
In order to provide a variety of prizes, we are asking that each year group donate different
coloured items, as listed below. Any suitable, non perishable, item of that colour would be
appreciated i.e. sweets, biscuits, pringles, shower gel, hand cream etc
Donations are to be taken into school by your child and handed to their teacher, or handed into the office. We hope to create a few hampers of each colour.
The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday 25th March and winners will be contacted in the
following days and invited to collect their prize.

If you are having an after-Christmas tidy up please don't forget us at PAGWPS!
You may have been gifted something which isn't quite to your taste, or have received two of an item, we would be very happy to accept any new items suitable for our general or bottle tombolas.
We are also happy to rehome any wrapping paper you may not want to keep until next year!
Please bring them into the office once school reopens on Monday 5th January.

As we reach the end of this year’s Christmas performances, it hardly seems possible that five years ago we were in the middle of Covid and unable to hold Christmas performances and concerts at all. This video is a throwback to the children singing and signing White Christmas to share with the school community. We remember the children having a lot of fun with the snow machines.
