So many of the referrals we receive come with such poignant stories of poverty, desperate need, illness and suffering. This referral made us sadder than usual - it is from a new referral agency, Essex County Council. The Family Support Worker, Clare, was looking for help for a family of 3 children, between 3weeks to 3 years old. One of them has chronic health issues and they had to leave their home pretty quickly because of rodent infestation. 😖😩🥺 Thankfully they are now in temporary accommodation (provided by the council) and Clare is doing her best for them, even if it means just holding the new born so mum can cuddle the other 2 siblings. Thank you, Clare! 🩷 Big thank you to Knit-to-Nurture too for sending us some urgent knit wear for the 2 older children. 🩷 We hope you can return to your home v v soon.
