SOUTHEND ROTARY CLUB
Our club gives you an opportunity to have fun giving something back to help the community with friends as part of a worldwide network. We were the first Rotary club in Essex and now we are looking for the next generation of volunteers to improve communities and make lifelong friends along the way. Members of Southend Rotary Club connect at fortnightly meetings and learn from
local business experts, political and civic leaders, and entrepreneurs, who help us stay informed on topics that are relevant to our community. ROTARY INTERNATIONAL

Their work impacts lives at both the local and international levels, from helping families in need in their own communities to working towards a Polio-free world. We are the kind of people who step forward to take on important issues for local communities worldwide. Rotary members hail from a range of professional backgrounds: doctors, artists, small business owners and stay-at-home parents all call themselves Rotarians. Rotary connects these unique perspectives, and helps leverage its members' expertise to improve lives everywhere. Rotarians contribute their time, energy and passion to sustainable, long-term projects in local communities across the globe. Projects focus on important issues like peace and conflict resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy and economic and community development. Rotarians are responsible leaders connecting to impact communities on a global scale. We believe in fellowship and global understanding, ethics and integrity, diversity and vocational expertise, service and leadership.
