The Fishpool Hoard - consisting of more than 1,200 coins - was uncovered more than 60 years ago.

**SCAM ALERT**
Please be aware...Ravenshead Newsletter has just had a phone call from an 'Adam Lewis' who told me that we spoke last September about agreeing to sponsor 'road safety books for schools'. He said that we'd agreed that no payment needed to be made last September as they were waiting to see if they reached 1,000 sponsors before progressing. As they had now reached 1,000 sponsors they were now ringing back.
At first, I thought it was genuine call but had no recollection of any such conversation. He was adamant that we had spoken last September to which I said we hadn't. He was quite persuasive, enough to make me doubt myself, and said he'd have to ring off and retrieve the original phone call recording.
I've just done an internet search and it seems this is a well known scam.
My other concern is that he now probably has a recording of my voice which he could, using AI, convert to a 'conversation' we had...albeit the recording he made just now would be a gruff cynical voice!
