💙 A Heartfelt Appeal to Our Community 💙

Our Summer Concert is just around the corner, and if we’re honest, ticket sales have been lower than we’d hoped.

We’ve poured our hearts into creating a programme that is uplifting, entertaining, and full of music we can’t wait to share with you. Countless hours of rehearsals, planning, and dedication have gone into making this a truly enjoyable evening for everyone.

We completely understand that times are tough and that the additional parking charges at the arena add to the cost of a night out. We know every expense matters.

What many people may not realise is that our concerts are much more than just performances. They are our opportunity to cover the costs of running the choir throughout the year. Our Director gives an incredible amount of time, energy, and personal financial support to keep the choir going, receiving no payment for doing so. Their commitment allows us to continue bringing music to our community.

Live music thrives because people come together to support it. Without audiences, community music-making becomes increasingly difficult to sustain. Every ticket sold helps keep local music alive and ensures future generations can continue to enjoy and participate in it.

If you’ve been thinking about coming along, please consider joining us. Bring a friend, bring family, spread the word. Not only will you be supporting local live music, but you’ll also enjoy a wonderful evening of entertainment right here in Mansfield and Forest Town.

Are you considering joining a choir but unsure if it’s for you?
We are running a 12 week Christmas Challenge from September through to our Christmas concert.
Join us for rehearsals, get to know us and perform with the choir in our favourite concert of the year.

No obligation to join after the 12 weeks.

In those 12 weeks you will find us Fun, friendly, make new friends, enjoy SATB singing, learn new skills, boost your mental health and so much more!

Please note that the Arena now has pay for parking. This will affect our rehearsals which will become £3 to park for the session and also £4 for concerts if you choose to park there.

As a choir I have no say or control over this. It’s such a shame. Please park considerately on the church drive on rehearsal days, you can always block me in as I leave last anyway.

We have the perfect opportunity for a pianist looking to spread their wings further. You will be given experience in accompanying in rehearsals as well as the option to assist in concerts!

We’re looking forward to starting back Friday 9th January after the Christmas break. A huge thank you to everyone who came to watch us sing at any of our performances in December!

We always welcome new members. We sing in parts - soprano, alto Tenor and bass. All are welcome but especially if you’re an alto!

If you’d like to try us out then please come along on a Friday at 6:45pm in St Albans Church in Forest Town.
