Over the past month SWALLOW has been running workshops alongside Openstorytellers Frome for . We were tasked with gathering feedback from adults with learning disabilities and Autism, about the services they receive in BANES, what they like about the services and what additional support they would like in the future.

It has been a great opportunity for people to share their experiences, ideas, aspirations and to shape future care and support services across Bath and North East Somerset.

These events have led really nicely into Learning Disability week, whose theme for this year just happens to be this week - "Do You See Me?"

They are absolutely delicious and most have been enjoyed already!

It's and cupcakes are being shared around the area to mark the occasion - what a lovely idea 🙌

Well, what a day!

Thank you SOO much to everyone who joined us for our Stroll for Sammie event this morning - and congratulations to all the walkers for such a fantastic effort, reaching 4 miles and 8 miles along the Colliers Way! ⭐🙌⭐

There are heaps of lovely photos, which speak for themselves. It was a lovely way to remember Sammie and we all gathered in her special corner of the cafe afterwards with some lovely brownies too, with thanks to our SWALLOW Community Cafe, Radstock.

A big thank you also to Sarah Sharp for donating such a beautiful bunch of flowers for the occasion.

There is still time to sponsor the walkers now they have all arrived safely home, you can do so here - https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/stroll-for-sammie

Thank you everyone.
