This is Gill Gill packing one of our beautiful care packs and watching our volunteers put these care packs together reminds us how powerful community really is. Every bag packed is a reminder that someone is thinking of you, supporting you and that you’re not alone.

🚀 WE ARE ONE WEEK AWAY 🚀

In just over ONE WEEK we officially launch our Care Pack Crowdfunder to expand our packs into fertility and scanning clinics. We are all feeling both fuelled and nervous!

And to make this launch as powerful as possible, we’re building a badass launch crew to help us get things off to the best start 🙌

We’re looking for people who can:

🤍As Volunteers’ Week comes to an end, we want to take a moment to shine a light on every one of our incredible volunteers at HeartTalks.

Your time, compassion, dedication and willingness to support others make a real difference in our community every single day. Whether you’re helping at events, offering a listening ear, raising awareness, or supporting behind the scenes with care packs HeartTalks simply couldn’t do what we do without you.

A special shout out to our amazing volunteer team! ✨

✨Gill Gill our resident Scrunchie & Crochet Queen. She always takes us under her wing!

✨Chloe the one with the humour that gets us through the busiest days with her energy, enthusiasm while somehow keeping us all organised at the same time.

✨Kelly keeps us in check, keeps us on track, loves a spreadsheet and is always ready with a creative idea!

✨Simon our entertainment department. He brings the tunes, and whether it’s a joke, a story, or a bit of banter, he always keeps spirits high!

✨Chantelle our busy bee! Always buzzing around, getting things done and somehow being everywhere at once.

HeartTalks wouldn’t be the same without this wonderful bunch.

Following yesterday’s care pack drop off, meeting the lovely Emma from we’ve taken time to reflect on this initiative and the impact it is already having within our local community 🤍

Through distributing care packs, we have identified a significant gap in support available to parents and families, particularly during the early stages of loss (first trimester)

We are now exploring funding opportunities and new ways to generate support so we can expand our reach and provide care packs to more parents/families who need them as requests have grown currently beyond our supply.

Over the coming weeks, we will be launching a crowdfunding campaign to help grow this initiative.

📣We are calling on our community to help us reach our GOAL!! 📣

Could you support us by organising a cake sale, fundraising activity, or local community event? Would you like to join our campaign team, sharing awareness and helping us to increase our reach and have the necessary impact to make it a success.

Perhaps you have been personally affected by loss and understand how meaningful it can be to feel acknowledged and supported during such a difficult time?

Our care packs provide a tangible source of comfort, helping to open conversations, encourage support, and remind parents that they are seen and not alone.

Our volunteer Gill has been a very busy bee 🐝 delivering more care packs! This time to the wonderful Alicia at St Mary’s Surgery in Timsbury.

Care packs through GP surgeries can be incredibly valuable for raising awareness and making support more accessible to parents.

Having care packs available will help to connect parents with local support services early, providing local support and helping to reduce feelings of isolation. They can make a real difference.
