Glenburn MWFC Girls Prestwick based SFA Platinum Quality Mark club providing football for girls of all abilities from mini kickers through to 11 a side. Glenburn M.W.F.C.

Fully SFA qualified and PVG cleared coaches. Come along and make new friends, have fun and get fit. are a voluntary organisation and registered charity committed to providing access to organised football for all age groups from toddlers through to adults regardless of age, ability or gender. d in 1976 following the opening of the Glenburn Miners Welfare and Social Club in 1975. The Social Club was opened following the closure of the Glenburn pit in 1973 and today many of the committee, parents and players associated with Glenburn M.W.F.C. grew up and still live within the Glenburn community of Prestwick. The girls club began in May 2015 and has blossomed very quickly, offering girls between the ages of 4-13 the opportunity to learn and play football in a safe & friendly environment.

⚽️ Glen Lawlor Recognition Award ⚽️

On Friday evening, we presented the Glen Lawlor Recognition Award for the third year running.

The award recognises a coach or volunteer who has shown exceptional dedication and made a significant contribution to the club.

This year’s winner was the one and only Michelle Clancy, who dedicates so much of her time to not one, but three teams!

Congratulations Michelle on a thoroughly deserved award. Your commitment, hard work and dedication to the club are truly appreciated by everyone. Thank you for everything you do for Glenburn.
