Gone home. It is with sadness that we learn of the passing of Mhari Rennie, one of the founders of our Beaver colony 42 years ago. Although retired from active service for a number of years Mhari took a continuing interest in the activities of the Beavers and we were always pleased when she would drop in of a Friday evening, to catch up with our adventures and tell today’s Beavers stories of the colony’s early days. Mhari was the inspiration, and driving force, behind our Beavers 40th Birthday Bash in 2023, when we were delighted to welcome back and thank her and other former leaders for their service. The Group extends its condolences and best wishes to Mhari’s family.
