⚫️🔴⚫️🔴 MATCH REPORT AND POTW ⚫️🔴⚫️🔴

A great performance from the boys up at Cumnock Juniors 2015 two Saturdays ago seen us get off to a flier with two great goals from Jacob taking the pressure off the team allowing Seth to come on for his debut.

🏆🏆🏆Coaches man of the match Charlie put in an exemplary performance at right back where he showed his reading of the game preventing attack after attack and getting the team up the pitch.

At one point Cumnock made it through on goal and were prevented from scoring a certain goal by a brave sliding tackle on the goal line which left everyone in shock confused as to how the ball never ended up in our net!

🏆🏆🏆 New boy Seth took on a more attacking role in the second half getting forward and scoring two good goals for his team, a proud moment for him and all the boys were delighted for him.

Goal of the day was Seth’s second which came from Jay playing on the left wing for a change from his usual spot at the back who played a ball down the channel to Jacob who played a great ball to the back post which was finished well.

All in all a great day for our boys up in Cumnock who to their credit are always very competitive and great hosts. We want to wish you good luck in your future games.

Heading into the last few games of the season now we hope to finish positively and start a busy summer working towards tournaments and 9 a side football

Tomorrow is our annual club presentation at Ayr Town Hall 🏆

The event starts at 6pm with ALL the players and coaches being joined by the parents from the 2020s, 2019s, 2018s, 2017s, 2016 and our girls section.

The second half is scheduled to start 7.30pm and parents from the 2015, 2014s, 2013s, 2012s, 2011s, 2010s and 2009 are invited to join their kids teams.

This is a ticketed event and parents will enter via the main door.

Can players meet at the Cutty Sark no later than 5.40pm where they will be 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🎵 via the side door.

Colin McCardle is hosting the evening 🎧

🏆🏆Players of the week🏆🏆

This week’s players of the week was a hard one once again but we have 3 clear winners with one winning 2 in a row.

🔴⚫️First we have our coaches and parents player of the week Daniel. This is a well deserved one this week with his incredible effort he put in at training and on the field keeping the right wing safe and creating so many chances for us. Well done and keep up the great work.

🔴⚫️Next up we have our captain Ashton who once again puts 100% effort into his CB position keeping us as safe as possible all while keeping the rest of the team up to a high standard with his role as captain. Keep pushing forward and putting this effort in 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

🔴⚫️Next we have Grayson for a 2 in a row POTW. Grayson has once again proved his worth on and off the park being a key player with amazing work effort and stamina his place in CM is well and truly sealed. Very very well deserved, keep up the amazing hard work bringing your team mates together 💪🏼💪🏼🏆

🏆⚽️PLAYERS OF THE WEEK⚽️🏆

This weeks player of the week was a very hard choice for parents and coaches due to the effort, hard work and proper teamwork but we had two clear boys who stood out just a bit more.

First our coaches player of the week is 🥁🥁🥁 Amir our LW missile. Amir played so hard up and down the left wing moving in to centre helping out the centre if required, creating chances, scoring targeted goals, defending and keeping constant pressure on the opposition in an all round amazing performance well done Amir keep up the hard work 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Next up we have our parents player of the week 🥁🥁🥁 our number 3 Grayson 💪🏼. Grayson has constantly proved he belongs on the park with our team he has really settled in perfectly claiming the CM position this is due to his amazing effort, determination, fitness, skill and focus. This week he was one of our most prominent players with defending but also attacking getting his first ever goal for us and keeping the pressure on. On a side note we have to applaud him at training for our first ever bleep test which I’m sure a lot of you will remember from school some may have liked it but I’m sure a lot would have hated it lol but Grayson absolutely destroyed it this week with an absolutely outrageous score of 80 this boy is an absolute machine so well done wee man keep up this amazing work 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🥁

We are currently preparing to move up to 9 asides so are looking to recruit some new players to our team.

We are an established team who are looking for boys who have drive, determination and willingness to learn. Previous football game experience is preferred but not essential.

We currently have three tournaments already booked for the summer and are already looking ahead for winter and next year's tournaments.
