We would like to give a shout out to Del's Rolls for supplying us with amazing sandwiches and cakes for our tournament today, although we had to cancel attending but they all went to great use at Ayr hospital thanks so much. we will be back for all our catering needs amazing food, amazing service

🏆PLAYERS OF THE WEEK🏆

Coaches - Seth
Our coaches player of the week was one of our newest players who continues to make a positive impact on the team each game he plays. Seth played in defence during the first half and was tenacious with his tackling. In the second half he moved into midfield where his relentless running got us further up the pitch by pressing the opposition and carrying the ball forward. Well done Seth, keep working hard!

Players- George
Another outstanding game for our keeper George, he was quick off his line to thwart attacks by making clearances. George also made several saves with his hands and feet to keep us in the game. Keep this level up George, well done!

Parents-Daniel
Our parents player of the week is our right winger Daniel. Daniel showed fantastic work rate and fitness by playing the full game against a challenging opponent. Daniel’s use of the ball was excellent and you can certainly see him applying the ‘pass and move’ theory into practice. Daniel was also unlucky not to get on the scoresheet with a few close efforts on goal! Keep up the good work!

🔴⚫️🏆PLAYERS OF THE WEEK🏆⚫️🔴

Last Saturday we hosted Beith to NVP Whitletts for our last game of the season. Our team done amazing through the full game but we have two clear winners for the players of the week it was a very hard one but both players got joint votes for coaches and parents, this just shows how hard these votes can be.

First up we have our striker Jack who put in great effort, determination and attacking play both creating and taking amazing chances on goal. Earning him our joint parents and coaches player of the week. Well done wee man keep up the great work 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Next up we have our goalkeeper George with a triple vote of players, parents and coaches player of the week. Again this was extremely well deserved for his safe hands and cat reflexes on his line stopping some great shots on target. Well done George keep up the amazing work 🧤🧤🧤

Whitletts Vics Presentation night

We attended the amazing annual Whitletts Vics In The Community presentation night on the 6th June and wow what a night. We want to thank everyone who helped organise this event presented by DJ Colin McArdle to make it a very very special night for players, coaches and parents we are proud to be a part of the Vics family 🔴⚫️🔴⚫️.

A massive well done goes to every player, coach and award winner you all absolutely smashed it. Some amazing award were earned 🏆🏆🏆

Our team the 2015s done us all proud looking incredibly smart in there shirts and Whitletts ties. We had a few of our very on special awards handed out to very deserving players.

First up we have a joint most improved player of the year award which went to both our goalkeeper George and right winger Daniel. Both of who have worked so hard over the past year progressing, learning and improving in all aspects of there game. A very well done to you both and continue your hard work it certainly pays off 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Now we have our parents voted player of the year Amir our left wing left footed missile who defies physics with his pace, movement and pin point accuracy on the goal this is a belter of an award for you keep up the tremendous work for the team 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Last but certainly not least our very own captain Ashton on winning a double. He was voted coaches player of the year and also players player of the year. As you have probably seen from POTW posts Ashton has won so many with his massive work ethic, teamwork, leadership and out and out incredible defending. This is why you have won these amazing awards very very well deserved wee man keep it up CAPTAIN 👏🏻💪🏼🔴⚫️🏆🏆

⚽️🏆⚽️MATCH UPDATE AND POTW ⚽️🏆⚽️

Last week we were welcomed to Cambusdoon FC 2015s for our second last league game. As usual Cambusdoon were very welcoming for our team.

Great game last Saturday between two closely matched teams. Cambusdoon definitely kept us on our toes for the full game with some very good football being played 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

🔴⚫️🔴

We started strong keeping as much possession as possible keeping us as far up the park as possible with accurate passing, communication and positioning. We managed to generate some good chances resulting in some great goals. Our defence was strong with the support of our two wingers Daniel and amir tracking back supporting our back line. Cambusdoon got a good amount of shots off on target but our keeper Mathew from one of our other teams stepped up to the task which deserves a special well done 👏🏻

First up we have our parents POTW Daniel our RW Italian star getting his steps or should we say sprints in up, down & all over the park putting 100% effort in defending to attacking, creating and taking chance on goal well done wee man keep it up 💪🏼

Next up is a special one for a unanimous players and coaches POTW 🥁🥁🥁 we give you our step in keeper from last me of our other teams Mathew for his absolutely insane performance pulling off saves that defy physics from bottom far corners to top bag shots. Mathew stepped up and showed us his wild side on the goal line well done and thank you for agreeing to step in to help us keep us the amazing work with they safe 🙌 💪🏼💪🏼

⚫️🔴⚫️🔴 MATCH REPORT AND POTW ⚫️🔴⚫️🔴

A great performance from the boys up at Cumnock Juniors 2015 two Saturdays ago seen us get off to a flier with two great goals from Jacob taking the pressure off the team allowing Seth to come on for his debut.

🏆🏆🏆Coaches man of the match Charlie put in an exemplary performance at right back where he showed his reading of the game preventing attack after attack and getting the team up the pitch.

At one point Cumnock made it through on goal and were prevented from scoring a certain goal by a brave sliding tackle on the goal line which left everyone in shock confused as to how the ball never ended up in our net!

🏆🏆🏆 New boy Seth took on a more attacking role in the second half getting forward and scoring two good goals for his team, a proud moment for him and all the boys were delighted for him.

Goal of the day was Seth’s second which came from Jay playing on the left wing for a change from his usual spot at the back who played a ball down the channel to Jacob who played a great ball to the back post which was finished well.

All in all a great day for our boys up in Cumnock who to their credit are always very competitive and great hosts. We want to wish you good luck in your future games.

Heading into the last few games of the season now we hope to finish positively and start a busy summer working towards tournaments and 9 a side football

Tomorrow is our annual club presentation at Ayr Town Hall 🏆

The event starts at 6pm with ALL the players and coaches being joined by the parents from the 2020s, 2019s, 2018s, 2017s, 2016 and our girls section.

The second half is scheduled to start 7.30pm and parents from the 2015, 2014s, 2013s, 2012s, 2011s, 2010s and 2009 are invited to join their kids teams.

This is a ticketed event and parents will enter via the main door.

Can players meet at the Cutty Sark no later than 5.40pm where they will be 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🎵 via the side door.

Colin McCardle is hosting the evening 🎧
