Happy Bank Holiday everyone! 😀
Just to let you know, we are open as usual today on BH Monday, as we are on all Bank Holidays!
Come down & find a fabulous book or jigsaw to spend the rest of your day with. Bliss 😊

We are still at the existing location on Lytham Road, (next to Foodie Fusion) for a while yet, lots of work still to do on the new Portakabin before the move can take place. Watch this face, we'll update further as we go along & advise when the move will happen.

This is a 30 second timelapse summary drone video, of the new BEX Portakabin building, being sited at Chequers Social Club yesterday.
Amazing crane work from the truck & all went very smoothly.
I will update as we go along with the refurbishment folks 😊

Phase 1 completed yesterday 🎉with the temporary building delivered & now in situ at the rear of Chequers Social Club's car park.
Delivery was done without any issues & now the work will start on the refurbishment of the PortaKabin. She's a bit of an ugly duckling at the moment, but we will get her looking lovely very soon 💖😍
I'll keep you all updated as to the progress & once that's completed, the moving date.

Today is the exciting first step to our Book Exchange move! 😃
Our new temporary home arriving! 🎉
We are expecting it early this afternoon, all the way from York with an es**rt vehicle 🛻
It will be sited at the rear of Chequers car park & then the work starts to transform it into our new Bryning with Warton Book Exchange 📖
If you are around early afternoon keep an eye out for it coming down Lytham Road (Freckleton direction), then on to Harbour Lane and on to Chequers.
We will be videoing this last leg of the journey & will upload it asap for you all to watch.
We'll update more as work progresses in the next few weeks & advise when we move.
See you at Chequers if you come out to watch!
