🎄💚 How amazing is this?! 💚🎄

A huge thank you to local lady Kate Nisbet and Elswick crochet group who have created the most beautiful crocheted postbox topper inspired by Elswick Singers!
It features the choir in full festive spirit and has already brought so many smiles to the village. What a wonderful way to celebrate community, creativity and our love of music. 🧶🎶

We’re especially touched as this year marks our 40th Anniversary, and Kate’s gorgeous creation feels like the perfect tribute.

If you’re passing, do stop to admire it — the detail is incredible!

This afternoon some members of our choir are performing with a Superchoir made up of members of a variety of local choirs. The choir has been put together to sing at the Trinity Hospice commemorative service celebrating 40 years. The service is being live streamed here:

Elswick Singers – Sharing Music & Giving Back

Did you know we perform four concerts a year at Elswick Village Hall – two in summer and two at Christmas?
2025 Concert dates:
🌞 Summer:
• Friday 4th July – 7:30pm
• Saturday 5th July – 2:00pm
🎄 Christmas:
• Friday 12th December – 7:30pm
• Saturday 13th December – 2:00pm

At each concert, we proudly support a chosen charity, often suggested by one of our members. 💛
At Christmas, we raised £164 for Rosemere Cancer Foundation, and today we received a lovely letter of thanks – a heartfelt reminder of the impact music and community can make.
