During a visit from our Chairman John Bryden to Lodge Mauldslie 1199, and after being asked to give a short address to the Lodge, we were overwhelmed to be given a cheque for £500. During harmony after the meeting John was approached by many brethren who shook his hand, these handshakes amounted to £100.00 from notes pressed anonymously into his hand. When he arrived home, www.kirstyskids.org was again overwhelmed to find a cheque to the amount of £300.00 from a visiting brother to the lodge, who was touched by John's address. This means that the Lodge has between the brethren and the visitors raised a total of £900.00, this is truly incredible and heartfelt. This morning Kirstyskids.org went to Kinlochleven Church to meet an incredible lady, Avril who at 90 yrs old has been collecting for charity. Kirstyskids.org has been delighted to have received 2 donations this week which have been collected by our Chairman John when he attended The Masonic Lodge of St Modan number 985, on Wednesday. Then while attending Lodge Mauldslie number 1199 last evening, a fundraising raffle raised £250.00 which was then doubled to £500.00, as brethren left he was given personal additional donations which totalled £100. Welcome home crew!!!
