A huge well done to the team at GXO Haydock for taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on 29th August! 💙💚

It was no small feat - over 24 miles, around 12 hours of walking, and one seriously tough challenge - all in support of Willowbrook Hospice.

And what an incredible result! The team have raised just under £1,800 so far, with the fundraising page remaining open for the rest of this week.

GXO are regular supporters of Willowbrook Hospice, and we’re so grateful for their continued commitment to helping us provide vital care and support to local people and their families.

Willowbrook Hospice were delighted to be invited to the BrewDog Stadium on Friday evening as the St.Helens RLFC chosen charity and we’re absolutely thrilled to share that with your incredible support, we raised a magnificent £1,500! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so special:

✨Thankful Thursday ✨

We were delighted to welcome Alana-Rose Clare, who came to the hospice with donation of £500 and a collection of gorgeous handmade bracelets.

Alana is just 7-years old and this is the third time that she has made and sold her bracelets, this time raising an fantastic £500. As if that wasn't enough, Alana's mum works for BDO Accountancy Firm who have matched her fundraising so she's raised an incredible £1000 in total for Willowbrook Hospice.

Alana has left a selection of bracelets at Willowbrook Hospice so if you would like to purchase one, they're now available at Reception at the hospice. Every single pound that is donated to Willowbrook Hospice from the sale of Alana's bracelets will help us to continue providing expert care and compassionate support to patients and families throughout St Helens and Knowsley.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Alana for sharing her beautiful gifts with us. Through your talent and kindness, you have created something truly special. Your bracelets will bring joy and comfort to so many families, serving as a beautiful reminder that even the smallest acts of compassion make the greatest impact. ✨

Hosted by our wonderful supporter Mike Kennedy, join us for a fantastic Quiz Night, Cabaret and Disco in aid of Willowbrook Hospice and put your trivia knowledge to the test!

Every penny raised will ensure that Willowbrook can continue to offer compassionate care and support to people across St Helens and Knowsley.

Many of us know someone who has benefited from the specialist palliative care and support provided by Willowbrook Hospice. Although the care we provide is free to patients and their families, it costs around £5 million each year to deliver these vital services.

To reserve your team’s table, please call Mike Kennedy on 07876 205 082 as soon as possible.

Teams are a maximum of 6 people and table reservations are £30. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis so tag your quiz team below, and help us to make a real difference!

St Helens Council Bereavement Service are hosting an Open Day at St Helens Cemetery & Crematorium on Sunday 13 September, 10am–2pm.

Our Patient and Family Support Team will also have a stand, providing an opportunity for service users, families and members of the community to meet the team and find out more about the support available.

There will also be opportunities to ask questions, meet the Bereavement Services Team and local organisations, explore the facilities and take part in a guided tour of the Crematorium and Cemetery.

Whether you're looking for information now or simply want to understand what's available for the future, you're welcome to attend.

Based in Rainford, The Pupil Room is a dedicated learning centre providing high-quality home schooling, 1:1 and small group tuition in Maths, English, and Science for primary school children.

Founded by experienced teacher Hollie, who has over 18 years of teaching experience, The Pupil Room is passionate about helping young learners build confidence, achieve their full potential, and develop a love of learning in a supportive and engaging environment.

By joining our lottery, The Pupil Room is helping Willowbrook Hospice continue to provide specialist care and support to local patients and their families. Community support from businesses such as theirs plays a vital role in helping us make a difference every day.

Not long to go until the Edale Skyline Challenge!🥾⛰️

On Saturday 5th September, Team Willowbrook will be taking on an incredible 21-mile circular hike through the Peak District, with 1,218m of ascent and some truly breathtaking views along the way.

We’re getting closer and closer to the big day, and we can’t wait to see our amazing supporters take on this challenge while raising vital funds for Willowbrook Hospice.
