10 Little Explorers braved the heavy showers today tovenjoy their play together after our short break.
We loved using the tractor to make our tractor wheel paintings to take home and enjoyed the slide, trampoline and horse as well as the table top toys.

Our second visit this week to Acorn Farm in Kirkby and we had a fantastic day meeting all the animals.
We fed the different animals as we walked around the farm and enjoyed holding the different animals in the petting shed with Marie.
Time for lunch, a play on the playground and all too soon it was time to go home.
We are now closed for 2 weeks for the half term and look forward to seeing you on Monday 25th May at our stall if you are coming to Rainhill Gala.

Today some of our Little Explorers visited Acorn Venture Farm in Kirkby with Diane, Ruth and their carers.
The sun shone as we fed the hens, goats, sheep and ducks. We also found some donkeys, quail, meerkat, alpacas, pigs and horses.
We enjoyed our visit to the petting shed where we held some Guinea pigs, chick's, rabbits and met a rat called pickles.
After lunch we had a lovely play on the playground.

A busy morning and lovely to welcome 6 new families to the group.
The grass was too wet to go outside but we had great fun playing with the farm animals, small world people, jigsaws, many more toys and creating our starfish.
During songtime we enjoyed popping the bubbles with our friends as well as joining in with our favourite If you're happy and you know it.
No session in the Scout hut next week as we are at Acorn Farm in Kirkby.

We welcomed a new family to the group today as well as 2 Little Explorers who have been busy for a few months but back to play again.
Everyone created their starfish in the craft area and enjoyed playing in the farm area, Mr Potato Head and investigating all the toys.
Next week we are in Acorn Farm so no session in the Scout Hut

Unfortunately it was too cold this morning to play outside but we had lots of fun on the trampoline, with the walkers, the garage and cars as well as the playdough.
Everyone made their turtle to take home and add to their under the sea collection.
Next week is starfish.

Anyone for a cup of tea... our Little Explorers made lots of drinks for their carers today.
