Skeabost Memorial Hall

Skeabost Memorial Hall Skeabost Memorial Hall is a community run facility serving the area of Skeabost on the Isle of Skye. The Hall is available to book for any event.

Skeabost Memorial Hall is the only one of its kind in Skye & Lochalsh and is dedicated to the men from the Skeabost district who fell in the Second World War and Palestine. It was a gift, supplemented by local collections, from Duncan MacLeod of Skeabost to the people of the area. It was felt that a community hall would be more appropriate than any other form of memorial. Within the hall, there ar

e three plaques honouring the 15 men who laid down their lives during this time. Today, it is still used for the benefit of the people of Skeabost and? Regular users of the Hall include the local playgroup, bowling club, cafe and dance classes. Social functions such as cèilidh dances and parties are held throughout the year and the Hall is the venue for numerous private functions. If you want the kids to play for an hour, or wish to organize a birthday party or wedding, please get in touch. Please call Liz on 01470 552393
