PBCT have TWO reasons for celebration in 2026 - We are 10 years old this year - our date of incorporation was 27 May 2017! Our second BIG reason was the purchase of the King George V Playing Field, to secure it for the community. To celebrate both these milestones, PBCT are planning a exhibition of photographs, plans and documents relating to the field over the years and we would LOVE to include your photos and memories - they don't need to be formal - photos of your little munchkin with their pup at the agricultural show, or your prize ram, the gymkhana, school sports, football, shinty ... whatever. We are interested in what the field means to the people of Portree and beyond. The photo should be yours to share, permission granted for its use by us, and names, date and context would be great. We look forward to sharing your stories. If you can't scan and send by email, we can arrange to scan your photos and return the original to you. Send us a message at [email protected].

We need some evidence to support a bid for funding to continue and grow all the good work that Lorna and her team undertake every year. All surveys are anonymous and the more responses we get the better.
