🎁 10 Essential Tips for Meaningful Donations 🎁
Thinking of donating to the school? We’re so grateful! Here are a few simple tips to make sure your donation makes the biggest impact:
1️⃣ Check for Safety – Only donate items that are clean, unbroken, and safe for little hands.
2️⃣ Think Age-Appropriate – Foundation Phase = ages 3–7. Keep items suitable for early years learning.
3️⃣ Label If Needed – If you’re sending something in with your child, a quick label saying “PTA Donation” really helps us sort it!
4️⃣ Avoid Sentimental Items – Please don’t donate anything you’d be sad to see painted, glittered, or well-loved!
5️⃣ No Electricals – For safety reasons, we can't accept anything that plugs in or charges.
6️⃣ Wash Soft Toys – A quick run through the washing machine makes them fresh and ready to love again.
7️⃣ Bag Similar Items Together – Keeping things like role play items or sand toys grouped helps us get them to the right area faster.
8️⃣ Get the Kids Involved – Letting them pick a toy or costume to donate helps them feel proud and involved.
9️⃣ Donate Time Too! – Don’t forget, your time is just as valuable. We always need volunteers for sorting, setting up, or supporting events.

🌼 Spring Clear-Out? We’d Love Your Help! 🌼
The PTA is kindly asking for donations from anyone having a spring clean — or anyone who simply wants to support the school in a practical way!
We’re currently looking for a variety of items that will support play, imagination, and learning in the Foundation Phase. If you have any of the following tucked away and no longer needed, we’d be so grateful:
🧺 Role play costumes & props
🍳 Kitchen utensils and cookware (pots, pans, spoons, ladles)
🧸 Sensory and fidget toys
🪣 Buckets and spades
💦 Water and sand play items – scoops, moulds, jugs, etc.
🌧️ Watering cans
🪞 Child-safe mirrors (for sensory and light play)
🌱 Child-sized gardening tools
🎯 Cones, hoops, and obstacle course equipment
All donations will be used to support creative play, outdoor learning, and sensory exploration for our little learners.
Please drop items off at the school office or send them in with your child clearly labelled "PTA Donation".
