Well we did it 😅👏🏼 …half the size it was meant to be, a site relocation and a few broken PTA’s later 🙈🤣
…but the weather did not beat us!!💪🏼
Thank you so much to all the traders and crafters who came and fought the elements with us and for bringing along your amazing Food,drinks & fun stalls!
Thank you to our local firefighters and our pcso Leighton for bringing along their emergency vehicles to show the children.
Thank you to the porthcawl lions for coming along with their games & helping our year 6’s raise funds for their prom.
A huge shout out to the amazingly skilled truck driver for getting our stage on to the playground 🙈 …don’t think Mrs John & the teachers/staff will ever forget the sight of that rolling in!! 🤣😁 ..but I think they’d agree that it really did make the fete! ..Shame our Welsh Rob drones wasn’t there earlier to capture that 🙈🤣
Thank you to Adam and Lilly for sorting the equipment and bringing along some seriously talented musicians & performers 🤩👏🏼 thank you mr Jenkins & the awesome Newton singer songwriters to Maggie and the lovely rising stars and porthcawl community chorus for your beautiful singing 🎵
thank you to all the teachers,volunteers,parents,children, family and friends who came along to the fete and supported us, we really couldn’t do it without you all!
raised funds will really help enhance our children’s learning and fun experiences at our lovely little school 🥰

Sooo Bottle tombola bottles in exchange for summer clothes…maybe we were being a bit optimistic with the great British weather 😅 So it’s home clothes/weather appropriate tomorrow …hopefully we won’t be needing wellies and umbrella’s 🙏🏻🤞🏼 we will assess the back fields and make a decision in the morning wether we need to relocate the fete on to the playgrounds..do a Sun dance for us please 😅

All this week we will be taking in bottle donations for our schools amazing annual bottle tombola (for the summer fete on Friday) We are so grateful for the support we receive every year for this fundraiser..let’s make this years the best yet!! Why not ask family and friends if they would like to donate something too, maybe they have a bottle of something hanging around that they’d like to donate to a good cause 🤩👍

Thank you everyone for all the coloured donations for our rainbow hampers for the summer fete raffle! …you smashed it as usual 🤩🌈 we will be making them up into hampers next week, they are going to be amazing as always! Will post pics once they are finished 🥰🤩
