A huge congratulations and heartfelt thank you to Bikespace CIC, whose Coast to Coast charity bike ride from Ilfracombe to Plymouth has raised an INCREDIBLE £905 for Path, helping us support people facing homelessness across Plymouth!

While the Coast to Coast ride is an impressive 87 miles on its own, 3 riders went one step further, cycling from Plymouth to Ilfracombe and back again, clocking up an incredible 174 miles in under 24 hours.

When they're not taking on fundraising challenges for local charities, BikespaceCIC is busy using cycling to support people, strengthen communities and create positive change across Plymouth.

As well as raising much-needed funds for Path, BikespaceCIC has helped raise awareness that homelessness is often misunderstood and that housing problems can affect anyone, which is exactly what we aim to highlight through Homelessness Action Week. Their efforts have helped start important conversations and encourage greater understanding of the support available before a housing crisis develops.

As part of Homelessness Action Week, we have been holding an art gallery at RWY Royal William Yard. Here is what some of our gallery's visitors had to say about their experience.

Through the artwork, we are inspiring conversations about what home means, challenging common misconceptions about homelessness and helping people better understand how the right support can make a difference before a housing crisis occurs.

There's still time to visit. Come along, explore the exhibition and hear the stories behind the artwork. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us at the Devon Business Show today.

As part of our stand, we gave visitors £1,000 worth of tokens to "invest" in the service they felt would make the biggest difference in our community. The results were incredibly insightful and showed where local businesses believe support is needed most.

While the investments may have been symbolic and every service is essential, the impact they represent is very real.

Support from businesses plays a critical role in the work we do. Corporate partnerships, sponsorships and fundraising help us create new opportunities, enhance the support we provide and reach even more people across Plymouth who could benefit from our services.

The conversations we had today felt especially meaningful during Homelessness Action Week, a chance to challenge common misconceptions about homelessness, start important discussions and help more people understand that support is available long before a housing crisis develops.

Thank you to everyone who took part, had a conversation with us and showed an interest in our work.

Homelessness is about people, not labels.

Labels can create distance, reinforce stigma and shape false narratives.

This Homelessness Action Week, we're starting conversations about the importance of seeing the person and not the circumstance. Homelessness is often shaped by complex life experiences such as trauma, loss, ill health, poverty and a lack of affordable housing.

Every person has a story. Every person has strengths, hopes, skills and aspirations. Yet too often, people experiencing homelessness are defined by their circumstances rather than recognised for who they are.

At Path, we believe everyone experiencing homelessness deserves dignity, understanding and the opportunity to be known for more than the challenges they face. Everyone has the right to support and a safe place to call home, regardless of their circumstances.

Today marks the start of Homelessness Action Week!

Homelessness Action Week is about creating opportunities for people to learn, reflect and have honest conversations about the realities of homelessness, while helping to raise awareness of the support available.

Through art, storytelling and community events, we'll be encouraging people to look beyond labels and stereotypes, and recognise the individuality, strengths and resilience of people experiencing homelessness.

Every person experiencing homelessness has a story. They also have hopes, ambitions and the potential to thrive with the right support.

Join us this week as we share stories, spark conversations and inspire positive action across our city.

It's Day 2 of our Homelessness Action Week art gallery at Royal William Yard.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday and helped make our opening ceremony such a success. It was fantastic to welcome so many visitors and hear the conversations, reflections and ideas inspired by the artwork on display.

Our artists have responded to the themes of Hope, Home, Homelessness and Plymouth, creating beautiful and thought-provoking pieces that explore what these themes mean to them.

We hope this exhibition will help build a greater understanding of homelessness and some of the challenges people in our community face, while creating conversations that encourage empathy, challenge stigma and inspire positive change.

Our CEO Victoria Allen met with Fred Thomas MP yesterday to brief him on the homelessness situation in Plymouth, our services and talk about some of the important things Path has coming up.
