Volunteering doesn’t just make a difference in your community - it can also help you take the next step in your career.
If you’re considering a career change into a frontline service, support, housing, health, social care or community-based role, volunteering can be a valuable way to strengthen your CV and gain relevant, practical experience.
By volunteering with our Winter Night Shelter Team (Project 58:7), you can develop and demonstrate skills that employers value, including communication, teamwork, empathy, resilience, safeguarding awareness and supporting people in challenging circumstances.
And most importantly, you’ll be making a real difference.
Last winter, our wonderful volunteers helped us provide safe shelter for 73 people.
This winter, we need more amazing people to join the team.
