We often assume that if something was wrong, someone would say something.

The reality is many people don’t know they can, or don’t feel safe enough to speak up.

The World Cup brings people together, friends, family, communities cheering side by side. But behind closed doors, some people may not feel safe.

That’s why we’re asking everyone to .
💬 Check in with the people around you
👀 Notice when something doesn’t feel right
❤️ Start a conversation, it could make all the difference

A simple “Are you okay?” can open the door for someone who’s struggling in silence.

Let’s look out for each other, during and after the matches.
Together, we can help make sure everyone feels safe, heard and supported.

Domestic abuse and sexual violence remain widespread, yet are often hidden, minimised or misunderstood. Harmful behaviours, including emotional abuse, coercive control and intimidation, are too often normalised, and many people who notice warning signs don’t feel confident to speak out.
