The lovely Sharon Ball came down tonight for June's haircuts which proved to be mega busy with what seemed like an ever growing queue waiting! Sharon is on the look out for another hairdresser that would be willing to volunteer 1 hour, every 2nd friday of each month to help cut the hair of some of Plymouths most vulnerable people. If anybody would be able to help, please drop Sharon a message on Haircut’s For The Homeless: Plymouth page. Thank you so much ❤️

At the end of volunteers week, we'd like to say the biggest of thank yous to all of our lovely volunteers who continue to give up their time to cook and serve food, cut hair, collect donations, cook cakes, wash up and clean etc.... without these guys, we really wouldn't be able to support the amount of people we do each week. Thank you guys ❤️

*** Volunteers week ***

Kicking off our volunteers week posts, we'd like to say a huge thank you to Tracy. Tracy has been volunteering with us for many years now cutting hair and also cooking and serving in the evenings. Sadly Tracy has had to stop volunteering with us recently due to health reasons but was such a big help to us. Whilst we rely on our valued supporters, we couldn't stay open without our amazing volunteers. Thank you so much ❤️

With only 2 weeks until Easter, we are still in need of Easter eggs for our service users, as well as children currently experiencing poverty. Last year we had an incredible 350 Easter eggs, this year we have 2 so far. If anybody is able to help, we'd be so so grateful. Thank you so much to everybody that continues to support us, without you guys, we couldn't support the amount of people we do each week ❤️

As some of you may remember, last year we did a big Easter egg appeal and were really lucky to be able to not only provide each of our service users with an Easter egg, we were also able to provide eggs to children that were experiencing poverty. We'd love to be able to do the same again this year so if anybody is able to help, we'd be so grateful! Eggs can be dropped to the cafe (93 union street) Monday to Saturday between 5pm and 8pm, or to a volunteers address (81 Beaumont rd) any day after 11am. Thank you so much to everybody that continues to support us, without you guys, we wouldn't be able to support the amount of people we do each day ❤️

Another special (and very delayed) thank you, this time to the Rock Choir South Devon • Choirs led by Richard Toomer. These guys chose us as their charity last year and have been raising money by selling (and eating 😋) lots of cake as well as their fantastic concert at christmas. Gary and Sam had the pleasure of popping along to one of their rehearsals to collect this amazing donation. Thank you so much guys, your donation will make such a huge difference to us ❤️

We would like to say a really big (and very delayed) thank you to the friends of the Green Taverners, Howdens Joinery Plymstock and React building suppliers who really kindly donated some much needed supplies. Donations like these make such a big difference to small local charities like ourselves, it enables us to continue providing some much needed support to some of Plymouths most vulnerable people. Thank you so much 💓

We'd like to say a special (and slightly delayed) thank you to Mila’s Bakery who really kindly donated lots of brownies/cookies and some yummy savoury items to us. These went down really well, with lots of comments saying "those brownies were banging", and asking if we had more! Thank you so much guys, your donation put smiles on alot of faces that night ❤️
