We were joined by and last night at our plastic recycling event! We had a great time using our shredding exercise bike, injection mould and other plastic recycling equipment. ♻️

A huge thank you to Shakeaway who have donated over 15kg of lids to us!! We are so excited to recycle these milk bottle tops into something new! ♻️🥤

A few photos from our beach litter pick last week… We had a great time kicking off our summer programme down at Tinside! With Lilah, National Marine Park Ranger, the Ocean City Influencers and Litter Logie, a Labrador who loves to collect litter.

After a great afternoon of litter picking, we were able to sort out all the plastic we could recycle with our Precious Plastic kit at The Plot.

If you are interested in joining us, give us a message on [email protected]. We are building a team to sort, clean and recycle the ocean plastic we find around the Sound over the summer. It is fun, hands on, you get to pedal our exercise bike recycler and make new products from ocean plastic. It is a circular economy, recycling and tidying up all in one fun activity.

🎉 We’ve got some brilliant news! 🎉
Precious Plastic Plymouth has been awarded Blue Sparks funding, and we’re really excited to get started. This will support a new project recycling ocean and litter-picked plastics, linking up with beach cleans across Plymouth, and running creative recycling sessions at The Plot on Union Street, turning Plymouth waste into new Plymouth products ♻️

Please bring your recycling bins in! PCC were unable to collect recycling this week because of ice so back alleys are full of all our Christmas recycling. Storm Gerrit approaching with 60+mph winds. Best that we secure our bins or this will spill litter everywhere!
