Happy National Accessibility Week! This year's theme is "Building a Strong and Accessible Canada". At Thrive Housing and Support, we believe that a truly strong country is built from the ground up, starting right in our own neighborhoods.
Every day, Thrive contributes to this national vision by providing accessible community housing, 24/7 on site PSW support and specialized care for adults with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and high-risk seniors.
By empowering individuals to live self-directed lives in safe, accessible environments, we are doing our part to strengthen the fabric of our entire community. Because a stronger, more accessible Canada means a country where We Can All Thrive.
Building an accessible community requires all of us and starts with a conversation. We challenge you to start a conversation with a friend, a co-worker, a neighbor and ask yourselves:
"What does a truly accessible community look like to you, and how can we help build it here at home?"
