Enable Communities are continuing their new social walking group aimed at adults with learning disabilities - parents/carers also welcome - in the Perth area 😀

Groups are free to attend with an optional cafe visit too - you do not need to be an Enable member to attend 😀

The aim is to reduce social isolation, make positive community connections and get more active 💪

The Safe Place Scheme helps make our communities in Perth safer and more welcoming for everyone.

Shops, cafés, businesses, and organisations can sign up to be a Safe Place.

This means if someone is feeling worried, lost, or upset while they are out, they can look for the Safe Place logo, go inside, and get help straight away.

The scheme gives people peace of mind and helps them feel more confident and independent.

To keep the scheme strong, we need kind and skilled staff in venues to join as members.

By joining, your venue will be offering even better customer service.

If you’d like to know more, get in touch to arrange a visit from our team.

Your Safe Place will receive:

a window sticker
postcards
a staff notice
These will help you support the scheme.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunder and lightning today.

It's in place until 10pm tonight and The Met Office is warning of heavy rain, hail and lightning in some areas.

PKAVS Shopmobility will be hosting their Shopmobility Awareness Day next Wednesday, 3rd of June 😄
