Another great day out in the minibus! 🚐

This time we headed to Broughty Ferry, taking the scenic coastal route through Newburgh before crossing the Tay Bridge. Along the way we stopped at Jamesfield Garden Centre for coffee and cake, kindly treated by our volunteers, who also made sure everyone had some chocolate for the journey.

Once in Broughty Ferry, we enjoyed a relaxing picnic in the park, a chance to catch up with friends, enjoy some fresh air, and take in the surroundings at our own pace.

On the way home, we crossed the Destiny Bridge so that those who hadn’t been over it before could experience it for themselves.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us. Judging by the smiles and conversations throughout the day, we think everyone had a lovely time!

Just one week to go until the Riverside Fun Filled Friday 😎

We will have the BBQ fired up, games & bouncy castle for the kids, & we are so pleased to say The Bike Station - Perth 's Dr Bike will be joining us again! ☀️

Around 8,000 bees have been released into their new home at the North Muirton Allotments, with the hives installed by Ross and Fraser from the Bankfoot Inn.

Bees help pollinate flowers, fruit and vegetables, supporting both the allotments and the wider local environment. They'll take a few days to settle in, so please give the hives some space during this time.

We're also looking forward to sharing some locally produced North Muirton honey with the community once the bees are established. 🍯

🍽️ School Dinner Week at Weekend Warm-Up! 🍽️

Join us this Saturday from 11:30am to 1:30pm as we take a trip back to the school dinner hall.

On the menu:

🥔 Shepherd's Pie
🌭 Bangers & Mash
🍰 School Cake & Custard

Our dinner ladies (and men!) will be armed with their aprons and hairnets, ready to serve up some classic favourites.

As always, there's plenty for everyone, so come along, enjoy some good food and a chat, and bring your appetite.

Yesterday, some of our fantastic volunteers took a group of our regulars out on a special trip in the Community Minibus ❤️

The group enjoyed a scenic drive through Broughty Ferry before stopping off at Glendoick Garden Centre for a cake and a cup of tea ☕🍰

It’s fantastic seeing the minibus being used to help people get out, have a blether, and enjoy a change of scenery on such a lovely day.

A special thank you as well to our volunteer Marshal for taking on driving duty 🚐👏
