Seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, but once we reach our limit, we will add you to a waiting list and inform you of that. Places are for residents of Stanley and District - friends/ family from outside that area may be allocated places only if they are not required for residents.

Tomorrow afternoon, we will issue the preliminary booking form for this event. We are not using Eventbrite for this. Instead, you will see a QR code to scan and a weblink to tap, both of which will take you to our Expression of Interest Form.

Fill in the details, and closer to departure date, we’ll finalise all the details. We will, as usual, operate on a first come, first serve basis, but this will help us manage waiting lists better, or see if there’s any way we can increase the number of people we take, which is hopefully better for all.

If any local businesses would like to offer any donations towards this wonderful event, either in cash or in kind, we’d be delighted to hear from you!

What a difference a day - and two good men and some machinery - make! Thank you so much to Scott and his team from SS Arb Tree Solutions Ltd for helping us get rid of all of those stumps, so we can get going on our new Community Garden! A few more things to do to make it as safe as we can for everyone - and if anyone has any skills they'd like to share in preparing the site for the first of our raised beds, we'd love to hear from you! Just comment, or sent a PM with your details and we'll get back to you!

Our Wheels of Friendship group enjoyed another wee trip out, this time to Peel Farm - food, home and gift and had a great time! Thanks to Jimmy our driver for taking us on a different scenic route there and back!

Hi Everyone, We're looking for people to help us out with our less mobile community members who may need lifts to and from social activities, appointments etc - this can be on a regular or ad hoc / occasional basis. If you're able to help, please check out the information below, and get in touch for more information on how you can help. We are also looking for a few people to train as minibus drivers to help out occasionally with short trips, again, contact us for more details. Thank you!!
