Greatly looking forward to our concert for Midsummer at Paul Parish Church this Sunday, with the amazing Cheryl Brendish as guest soloist. Should be a cracker. 7.30 pm start.
On Monday we will continue the learning process on some new pieces, as well as keeping on top of some of the current ones.
Lovely to welcome so many guests from near and far listening at practice this week, and especially Andy, who will hopefully join our ranks alongside brother Tony.
Always nice to welcome folk, and everyone seems to enjoy hearing the work which goes in learning new songs etc.
Anyone else contemplating joining a choir would be very welcome to come and see how we go about things!
Hoping to see you on Sunday and Monday.
Love

FIRST HARBOUR CONCERT OF THE YEAR

On a sunny evening the choir thoroughly entertained a large audience of locals and visitors from far and wide. Amongst them was Audrey Waters, who started listening to the Choir as a babe in arms and is now the grand old age of 96. Her husband Tom was with the Choir for 58 years both as chorister and Musical Director. Our final piece, You'll Never Walk Alone, was dedicated to the memory of fellow chorister Geoff Gaskell who sadly died this week.
