Fresh Cuts End of Programme Exhibition at the Scottish Enduro Series, Dunkeld

Join us on Saturday 13th June 2026 in the event village at Round 3 of the Scottish Enduro Series in Dunkeld for a special evening celebrating the Fresh Cuts programme and the incredible young creatives involved.

The 2026 cohort will be showcasing their films and speaking about their experiences on the programme, sharing the stories, skills and creativity developed throughout the year.

We’ll also be joined by members of the 2025 cohort, who’ll be talking about how Fresh Cuts has helped shape their careers so far, the projects they’ve gone on to work on since leaving the programme, and their ambitions for the future.

We’ll hear from some of the key people behind the programme, offering insight into why Fresh Cuts was created, the importance of supporting emerging creative talent within mountain biking, and how initiatives like this help cement Scotland’s place on the global stage for cycling, events and creative storytelling.

Expect:
✨ Film screenings
✨ Rider and filmmaker stories
✨ Guest speakers
✨ Food trucks
✨ Stretch tents
✨ Ambient lighting
✨ Relaxed festival vibes

The exhibition and film night is open to all racers, supporters and event attendees taking part in the SES weekend, so come along, grab some food, watch some brilliant films and help us celebrate the end of a truly unique programme.

A brand-new pilot programme is giving pupils at Kinlochleven High School the chance to gain hands-on experience in trail building, event delivery, and outdoor careers.

As part of the programme, pupils will work alongside industry professionals to upgrade and improve a trail on Cow Hill in Fort William. The trail will later feature as the closing stage of the Scottish Enduro Series and Scottish Enduro Championships in September 2026, supporting plans for an exciting town-centre start and finish for the event.

Led through a partnership between Developing Young Workforce (DYW) West Highland Chamber of Commerce DMBinS, Lochaber Trail Association, Forestry and Land Scotland, and CRC Trails, the programme is helping young people build practical skills while exploring career pathways in Scotland’s growing outdoor tourism and mountain bike sector.

Back in March, our Fresh Cuts trainees Finlay Anderson, Jamie Edmondson and Somhairle Johnston, took on the 48 Hour Film Hack, creating, filming, and editing a project for SCOTT Sports in just two days.

Working alongside Scotty Laughland, the team created a fun, fast-paced take on the “Perfect Day”.

The group really tapped into Scotty’s unique style of content creation, producing a cleverly crafted take on the “Perfect Day”, from a double yolker breakfast in the morning to chasing down the last cinnamon roll at the bakery, all with the Scott Lumen SL at the heart of the story.

Huge thanks to Scotty for getting fully involved and supporting the team throughout and of course Scott Sports for setting the challenge.

Have a watch and read more about the challenge, where you can also check out (in case you missed it) Team Scottish Enduro of the same challenge.
