Oxford Climate Society Student society and not-for-profit dedicated to creating the next generation of informed climate thinkers 🌏

An Oxford based society dedicated to developing informed climate leaders, thinkers, movers and shakers. Our membership extends from students to professionals and the general public, welcoming all levels of interest and experience. We aim to connect individuals, enabling a more meaningful impact through collaboration. OCS Members receive opportunities to:

1 - Learn: OCS organises and publicises le

arning opportunities, from talks, seminars, debates and conferences, through to articles and movies. We run events every Monday evening of Oxford term time from 7.15 -8.30pm. Our new Analysis and Outreach team will produce high quality analysis of new developments in climate policy and science, jargon-free, as well as Oxford-based opportunities and video and blog based introductions to climate policy, science and beyond.

2- Connect: Meet other like-minded individuals through our events.

We will start with a talk about the importance of sustainable clothing, followed by a workshop teaching you to repair holes and buttons in your garments. Bring anything that needs upcycling and we’ll teach you how to bring it back to life. All materials will be provided!
