A huge thank you to ‘Team Bethany’ (Lisa, Steven, Bethany, Tanya, Ryan and Sharon) who took part in the SPAR Omagh Half Marathon and 5K on 29th March 2026 to raise funds for Marie Curie.

The team raised an amazing £924 for our charity, choosing Marie Curie because it is a cause close to their hearts, having witnessed the impact cancer can have on families. Their youngest team member and captain, 8-year-old Bethany, inspired the team name with her courage, spirit and determination.

We are incredibly grateful for their fantastic fundraising efforts and for choosing to support Marie Curie. Thanks also to everyone who sponsored and encouraged them along the way. Your generosity helps Marie Curie continue to provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness and their families.

Thank you, Team Bethany, for making such a difference. 💛

A huge thank you to the Hill and Allison families for their very kind donation of £2840 to Marie Curie. This money was in lieu of flowers in memory of their beloved Lynda Hill. During her short illness, Lynda received care and support from Marie Curie nurses, before she sadly passed away on 28th November 2025.
The families are also taking part in the “Beat the Mournes” hike on 13th June in aid of Marie Curie. They have set up a JustGiving page called “Lynda’s Angels”, with all donations going towards the vital work of Marie Curie 🌼 We are very grateful for all the support, and these donations will help provide much needed end of life care to other families in our local area.

We were absolutely delighted to receive another amazing donation from The Stables Farm Stays! The Smyth family organised their Santa Saturday fundraiser again this year and it raised an amazing £3,220.00 for our local Marie Curie nurses.
We would like to say a massive thanks to the Smyths for their ongoing support. And also thanks to everyone to attended and donated to the event, and to all who volunteered and helped in any way, we truly appreciate you all 🌼
