We often share photos and videos of the more active activities enjoyed by those who attend our Day Club. Whilst staying active is an important part of maintaining health and wellbeing as we get older, we also understand the value of quieter moments.

If you or a loved one are looking for a calm, welcoming place to spend the day, our Day Club could be the answer.

We provide a relaxed and supportive environment where older adults, including those living with dementia, can enjoy meaningful activities at their own pace. Whether it's arts and crafts, puzzles, board games, reading, reminiscing over old photo, or simply enjoying a cup of tea and good conversation, there's something for everyone.

πŸ’œ Friendly team
πŸ’œ Meaningful and engaging activities
πŸ’œ Opportunities to socialise and make new friends
πŸ’œ Refreshments and a warm welcome

Our Day Club runs every Wednesday, 10am - 3pm. Visit www.crossroads-caringforcarers.org to find out more or call us on 0121 553 6483.

Caring for a loved one can be very rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming. That’s where we can help.

Our friendly, professional care team can provide flexible support in the home - from personal care and companionship to tasks around the home. We help people live safely and comfortably in their own homes for longer.πŸ’œ

On Saturday, as part of our celebrations, our Carers Assistance Line team took a group of family carers on a day trip to Bourton-on-the-Water.

The weather was perfect and a great day was had by all, taking in the the sights of the picturesque Cotswolds village, as well as a visit to the famous Model Village - a replica of the buildings that existed in Bourton-on-the-Water in the 1930's.

It's so important that carers - who dedicate so much of their time to others - get the opportunity to have some time to themselves, to relax and recharge their batteries.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! πŸ’œ

As Carers Week draws to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to recognise the dedication and commitment of our care team.

Every day, our colleagues make a meaningful difference to the lives of those they support, providing high-quality care and enabling people to live with dignity and independence, in their own homes for longer.

A huge thank you to all our carer support workers, your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated!πŸ’œ

Yesterday we treated local family carers - who give so much if their time to care for a loved one - to a delicious afternoon tea as part of our Carers Week week celebrations.

Carers, some of whom were accompanied by the person they care for, had the opportunity to chat to others in a similar situation and relax, as well as get information on our services from our team.

We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did hosting it! πŸ’œ
