☀️🌸 Summer is here, and our participants are so excited to make the most of the Secret Garden for relaxing, socialising, and enjoying fun activities outdoors! 🌿💛

During Thursday’s craft session, everyone got creative, making these beautiful, colourful wind chimes to decorate the garden. 🎨🌈✨ The participants loved choosing different beads and colours to make each one unique!

We can’t wait to hear them chiming in the summer breeze while everyone enjoys the garden together. 🌼🍃🔔

🌟 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞! 🌟
We’re so excited to share that our Let’s Eat Well healthy eating project is officially underway, thanks to the fantastic support from the 🙌💚
This week, participants have kicked off their 8-week journey learning how to cook healthy, balanced meals in the evening sessions 🍽️🥗 From chopping fresh vegetables 🧅🌶️🍅 to preparing nutritious dishes together, everyone has been getting stuck in and building their confidence in the kitchen 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
The sessions are all about:
✅ Learning new cooking skills
✅ Understanding salt, fats & sugar in foods 🧂🍬
✅ Making healthier choices 🥦
✅ Working as a team and having fun 🤝
The energy has been amazing, and participants did so well in their first sessions, they’re already looking forward to next week! 🎉
A huge thank you to the Grimmitt Trust for making this possible 👏 and to our brilliant staff for delivering such engaging and supportive sessions 💙

On yesterday's Eid, Natalie got creative in the morning, making beautiful Eid chimes 🌟🌙 and carefully crafting stars and colourful shapes that will brighten any space 💫🎨.

In the afternoon, it was time for a little pampering 💅💕—Natalie chose a pretty pink nail colour, and the result looks fantastic! 🌸✨

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜, 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲! 🎨✨

Our participants had a brilliant time making salt dough ornaments from scratch—mixing ingredients, getting a little messy, and using cutters to create some lovely shapes 🧂🥣🍪. From rolling out the dough to carefully pressing out their designs, everyone got stuck in and showed great creativity!

It’s wonderful to see such enthusiasm and teamwork, with plenty of smiles along the way 😊👏. Well done to everyone for your amazing effort—we can’t wait to see the finished ornaments once they’re dried and decorated! 🖌️🌟

Participants had a fantastic time at their craft session at the West Bromwich library! 📚🎨✨
There was plenty of creativity on display as everyone enjoyed colouring in beautiful designs 🖍️🌈, completing fun dot-to-dot activities 🐟🔢, and making their very own fish crafts using colourful materials and glue 🐠✂️💙. The tables were full of pencils, craft sticks, and lots of imagination!
It’s wonderful to see everyone getting involved, focusing on their creations, and having so much fun together in a relaxed and creative environment. 😊👏 Great work, everyone! 🌟🎉

Michael has been baking up a storm in the kitchen this morning! 🧁👨‍🍳✨
He made some beautiful cupcakes in both vanilla and chocolate flavours 🍰🍫—they look absolutely delicious! 😍 Not only that, but Michael also helped tidy up afterwards, showing great teamwork and responsibility. 🧼👏

Owen had a wonderful time volunteering at the Kitty Café! 🐾😺
He spent the day grooming the cats, playing with them, and making sure they were cool and comfortable. 🧴🐱💖 Owen really enjoys spending time with the cats and giving them lots of love and attention—it’s clear they enjoyed his company just as much! 🥰
Well done, Owen, for your kindness and care towards the furry friends! 🌟🐾

🌈✨ 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠! ✨🌈

Our talented art group spent the morning getting creative and making some fantastic decorations for the upcoming Pride event – and what a brilliant job they’ve done!

From colourful tissue-paper creations to beautifully crafted hearts and fun designs, there was so much care, teamwork and creativity put into every piece. The room was filled with colour (and a bit of glittery mess too! 🎨), and it’s clear how much effort everyone gave.

A huge well done to everyone involved – your hard work really shines through, and we can’t wait to see these decorations brighten up the celebration! 💖

⚠️ A Yellow Heat-Health Alert has been issued for the West Midlands, starting from 9am tomorrow until 5pm next Wednesday (27 May).
