🩵 It is with unimaginable sadness that I have to make the following announcement.
After 14 years of standing alongside our community, it is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce that SinglePoint has had to close its doors permanently.
SinglePoint was never just an organisation. It was our purpose, our passion and, for many of us, our second home. We built it from the ground up with one simple belief…that everyone deserves somewhere to turn, someone to listen and someone who genuinely cares.
Over the past 14 years, we have supported thousands of children, families and residents through some of the most difficult times in their lives. We’ve celebrated successes, wiped away tears, fought alongside people who had nowhere else to turn and created a community where everyone mattered.
We have never stopped fighting for that community right up until the end.
Behind the scenes, we have spent months doing everything humanly possible to save our beloved organisation. We explored every funding opportunity, knocked on every door, sought professional advice, approached supporters and partners, reduced costs wherever possible and refused to give up for as long as we could.
But sometimes, determination simply isn’t enough.
The reality is that the funding landscape has become almost impossible for grassroots organisations like ours. Despite a proven track record, outstanding outcomes and an unwavering commitment to our community, the support needed to keep our doors open simply wasn’t there.
That is devastating.
It is incredibly difficult to accept that our work was so often celebrated, praised and showcased when it reflected well on others and their campaigns, yet when we reached the point of needing meaningful support to keep delivering those very services, we found ourselves facing the fight largely alone.
Our staff have given so much of themselves - far beyond what any job description could ever ask. They have worked through uncertainty, made personal sacrifices, carried the emotional weight of supporting others while worrying about their own futures and still continued to show up every single day because they believed in what SinglePoint stood for.
To every family who trusted us, every child who walked through our doors, every volunteer, every supporter, every donor and every partner who believed in us, thank you.
You gave SinglePoint its heart.
Although this marks the end of our organisation, nothing can erase what we achieved together. The lives changed, the friendships formed, the confidence rebuilt, the crises overcome, the smiles, the laughter and the hope that grew within our walls will live on long after our doors have closed.
We leave knowing we gave absolutely everything we had.
Whilst our hearts are broken, we remain immensely proud of what SinglePoint became. Against all the odds, we built something truly special and no one can ever take that away.
To our wonderful community…
Thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you for the last 14 years.
It has been the privilege of our lives.
We wish you all nothing but happiness, strength and brighter days ahead.
With sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks,
Eve Loveridge - Managing Director
