Join Inspire Learning for a celebration of you, our amazing learners! 🥳

We'll be at Beeston Library on Monday 15 June from 10.30am - 12.30pm for a free drop-in celebration! As part of the National Year of Reading, we'll be kicking off with performances from our very own learners, who'll be reading their original pieces of flash fiction that they've produced in our creative writing courses.

There'll also be a plenty of activities to get involved with:

🩺 Learn CPR!
🧁 Decorate cupcakes and discover great baking reads
🕵️ Spot the Scam workshop

The celebration event will be followed by our Learner Voice group at 11.30am, where you'll have the opportunity to share your thoughts on Inspire Learning and let us know what courses you'd like to see.

Celebrate with us at our annual Inspire Learning Celebration Events coming up across the county in June and July!

The first of our Celebration Events takes place next week!

Visit Inspire Beeston Library from Monday 8 June - Friday 12 June to see the amazing skills and talents on display in our Adult Learning Showcase Exhibition! 🤩

Join us the following week on Monday 15 June, 10:30am - 12:30pm at Beeston Library for our Broxtowe Inspire Learning Celebration Event.

These events are always great opportunities for past, present and prospective learners to meet our wonderful team, ask questions, enjoy taster sessions and discover the Inspire Learning experience.

We're hiring a joinery tutor! 👷

Do you feel that you have the skills, knowledge and experience to motivate young people to want to achieve their potential? We currently have a vacancy for a Joinery tutor in our Construction Department at our High Pavement centre in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate individual to deliver Joinery qualifications at L1 and/or L2. The ideal candidate will have at least some experience working with young people and have a level of competence necessary to delivery joinery at these levels. If you don’t hold a relevant teaching qualification, but feel you have what it takes to transfer your knowledge and experience of joinery to young people looking for a leg up, then we still want to hear from you!

We’re recruiting Adult Learning LLDD Tutors! 🤩

Do you think you can help us deliver amazing teaching for adults with learning disabilities and difficulties? We've got the role for you!

We offer a range of learning programmes, both accredited and non-accredited, often in partnership with partner services and organisations, for learning disabled adults in our communities. We're looking for a well-qualified tutor with experience of working with learning disabled adult learners with a range of skills and of learning and communication needs. You'll need experience of delivering engaging, supportive teaching - we're looking for someone to teach across a range of subjects, but with a focus on personal and social development and communication.

Our Adult Learning programme continues to strive to meet the needs of our communities across Nottinghamshire. We are looking for well-qualified professionals who are experienced in their field, confident communicators, and passionate about delivering high-quality learning. Successful candidates will be able to deliver both accredited and non-accredited courses, from beginner level upwards.
