Huge congratulations to our members Jakki Trainor of Figment Ceramics , Ann Smyth of Ann Smyth Stained Glass and Adele Pound Adele Pound on their selection for the annual exhibition of The Royal Ulster Academy Royal Ulster Academy of Arts
The three artists’ work is on display on Floor 5 at The Ulster Museum and is open to the public from today. It’s a beautiful exhibition featuring top class art and craft from RUA members, guests and selected submissions highlighting a wealth of talent from our shores and beyond. Congratulations to all exhibitors on a great display of creativity and imagination!

Do you remember our fabulous Christmas Market last year at WWT Castle Espie? Well the good news is we’re back for more fun times in 2026!

This week WWT Castle Espie announced some upcoming changes at the centre but the good news is that our collaboration with them is still going strong and we all can’t wait to get back on Sunday 29 November for another fabulous market full of quality art and craft, fabulous festive fanciness and a chance to support our favourite venue!

Get the date in your calendars and invite your family and friends along to a super event in a stunning location. You’ll get to support the local arts and your local wildlife and wetlands all in one go! 👏👏👏

Today, at our Autumn get together, the members of NDCC were delighted to be joined by the amazing Sara from SJO Accountants. Sara talked us through the essential parts of getting set up for Making Tax Digital and managed to make it all seem less daunting and more manageable! We were all very grateful for her valuable advice and suggestions.

It was also a great chance to catch up after the success of our 2 day Summer Craft Festival and to start making plans for our next events in 2026 and 2027. (Our next market event is on Sunday 29 November at WWT Castle Espie - Save the Date!)

Many thanks to WWT Castle Espie for hosting us today for our get together and spoiling us with delicious teas and coffees
and freshly baked scones! 😋

We’re super proud of our amazing members Sarah Majury and Adele Pound who have some stunning work on display. Sarah may have received a fantastic award for her beautiful and moving art work…. 👏👏👏 And Adele is painting and chatting on Monday if you fancy dropping in?
