Supporters of Rowcroft

Yesterday evening was delighted to attend the Rowcroft Hospice Supporters BBQ, a fantastic event organised to thank the businesses, volunteers, and supporters who help this much-loved local charity continue its incredible work.

It was great to see so many people come together in support of Rowcroft Hospice and celebrate the impact they have within our community.

I am always proud to support Rowcroft and help organise fundraising events, including the one and only Rowcroft Pedal Kart Grand Prix.

The countdown is now on!

The Pedal Kart Grand Prix returns on 18th July, just five weeks away. If you’re looking for a great family day out, come along and enjoy the action.

This year, eight teams will battle it out for the title of 2026 Rowcroft Pedal Kart Grand Prix Champions. With pride, bragging rights, and the trophy at stake, the competition promises to be fierce.

The winning team will also have the challenge of returning next year to defend their title!

Expect plenty of excitement, friendly rivalry, and community spirit while helping to raise vital funds for Rowcroft Hospice.

Can you Handle-iT...

“Pedal Kart Grand Prix” challenge….

I’m proud to announce that www.handle-it.com are officially the 8th team to join the Pedal Kart Grand Prix Community Charity Race, taking on other brands in what’s shaping up to be an incredible event.

Established in 2001, Handle-iT has grown into an international business serving more than 24,000 customers across 60+ countries worldwide. From local independent businesses to blue-chip companies, national governments and international contracts, their reputation has been built on reliability, innovation and outstanding customer service.

Whether it’s office moves, warehouse solutions or large-scale handling equipment, Handle-iT continue to prove they can move just about anything and now they’ll be moving fast on the track too.

Danny Farrar has worked tirelessly to build an impressive international company with a seriously strong order book, so having Handle-iT join the grid is a huge boost for the race.

That now brings us to 8 confirmed teams… which means I’m looking for just TWO MORE TEAMS to complete the lineup.

So the question is…
Who’s ready to take on the challenge? Who wants to race against some impressive brands, support a fantastic community charity event, and battle it out for Grand Prix glory?

CSS Group are stepping things up!

You’ve probably heard me talking about the exciting launch of the Pedal Kart Grand Prix, taking place on 18th July at Rowcroft Hospice and trust me, the competition is already heating up! with Dean Challis heading up his team to become the next champions…

I popped round yesterday to grab a team photo of the CSS Group crew, and let’s just say… they are ready. This team is not taking things lightly. They’ve got a watertight strategy, serious determination, and their eyes firmly on that winner’s title.

THIS RACE IS REALLY HOTTING UP

The excitement is building as we officially announce that “Rotary club Paignton” have entered a team into the BIG Community Pedal Kart Grand Prix taking place on 18th July!

This event is all about bringing communities together, building connections, creating memories, and proving that when people unite behind a great cause, everyone wins. Although… we already have a few teams confidently claiming they’ll be lifting that winning trophy

The Paignton Rotary team will feature a fantastic mix of people from across the community, and we are absolutely thrilled to have their support for what promises to be an unforgettable day.

Torquay Builders took the Challenge.

The competition for this year’s "Pedal Kart Grand Prix" just got serious.

Torquay Builders Owner Edward Marchant and his team have officially entered the race and they are not turning up quietly. Their message is simple: "We are in it to win it."

With confidence high and team spirit already building, they believe they have what it takes to take home the championship trophy. Now the challenge has been thrown out to every business and community team across the area.

The Pedal Kart Grand Prix is about teamwork, determination, community pride, and healthy rivalry. Every year the event brings businesses and local groups together for a fun and unforgettable day of racing.
