One of our customers from the Teign Community Store sent us this photo as they've used ingredients bought in the Store to make a delicious meal of spaghetti and meatballs 🍝

They've worked out that this meal would have cost roughly £3 with the ingredients pictured, and this is just a small amount of what they picked up in the Store so the £5 payment really does cover a lot!

This week, we've been really grateful for the following donations:

> Newton Abbot Ukulele Club for a box of donations on Thursday
> Monk's Woodworking for two bags of donations from our wish list on Thursday
> Elaine, Community Champion at Asda Newton Abbot, for using some of her community funds to purchase some much needed items
> An individual who donated two bags of toiletries and cleaning products
> An individual who donated some pots and pans, great for use in our Home Start packs

We are now up to 980 Facebook followers which means we have just 20 to go before we pick a winner to get a free shop in the Community Store. We'd love to reach 1000 followers before the end of September, so make sure you encourage friends and family to follow us!

If you win, but don't want to use your free shop, or aren't able to for whatever reason, you can choose to pay it forward so that someone else can benefit from the free shop. We believe that small acts of kindness have the power to change someone else's life.

As we head towards harvest, we are hopeful that donations will once again pick up, however we are currently running low on a number of items which go into most of our food parcels on a daily basis.

If you are able to donate just one item to us, it could make a huge difference to a family or individual in need. You can drop items off to us directly or at one of our donation points:

It's Wednesday afternoon which means it's time for this week's tour around the Community Store ahead of tomorrow afternoon's session.

The road works are still in place at the entrance to Queensway from Shaldon Road so please follow the diversion signs if travelling by car.

It's only £5 to shop with us and you should get at least 3x the value in food and other items. Please bring your own bags with you.
