4 years today everything changed. Diagnosis day. The day they finally took me seriously. After weeks of going back and forth to doctors and hospital and being dismissed. Look at the lump on his neck, yet doctors still said its probably nothing to worry about. If they had taken notice the first time I attended maybe it wouldnt have spread. I will always be angry about that. What might have been.

You were still smiling despite going in for an MRI scan. The bravest boy. How proud I am to be your mummy, im just sorry i couldn't save you 💔

Thank you to all the children at Rydon Primary School and Lou Chapman Arts for creating this beautiful memorial for Fletch at his school. Seeing all the drawings and memories from his friends is incredibly heartwarming, yet so heartbreaking at the same time. ❤️

Last month, I worked with year 6 at Rydon Primary School to create a special legacy artwork to remember their friend Fletcher Fletchers Arc . His closest friends designed the painting, blending his favourite things through shared memories of him. It was an honor to hear all of the stories of their friendship whilst we worked on their gorgeous project.

Big thank you to Rydon Primary School for holding a wear yellow/non uniform day in Fletchers memory today. The ongoing support and donations from his school and community is hugely appreciated and all goes directly to research into childhood cancer. 💛💛

Today should be your 11th birthday.

Instead, we’re here missing you more than words can ever explain. The world keeps moving, but for us it changed forever the day we lost you. Nothing prepares you for a pain like this. It’s a grief that sits in your chest every single day.

You should be here. You should be blowing out candles, making a mess, laughing, growing up. Instead we are left with memories, photos, and a silence that never goes away.

People often say it gets easier with time. It doesn’t. The longer your gone, the more birthdays, milestones, and ordinary moments we have to live without you. And thats so incredibly unfair.

Cancer didn’t just take you — it shattered our lives. It stole your future and the life we were meant to have together. You shouldnt have had to fight a battle like that.

We miss you every second of every day. We talk about you, think about you, and carry you with us in everything we do.

Happy 11th birthday, our beautiful boy.

My beautiful boy. Today is International Childhood Cancer day. Please spare a thought for all the children gone too soon and the ones still going through the most horrific treatments and living with the side effects. More needs to be done. Please share to raise awareness.
