The Shortlist is out ! Thank you to all who nominated. It was an inspiring process reading all the amazing nominations of organisations and volunteers.

A huge thank you to our shortlisting panel Morgan Wilkinson (Teignbridge District Council) Steve Hindley (iNarrator) Shelly Machin (NHS) Anja Kroening-Maynard (Teignbridge CVS) for your expertise and careful considerations.

What an amazing community we will be celebrating on the 23rd October at the Pavilions, Teignmouth. Tickets are selling fast so if you have been shortlisted make sure you book your ticket quickly, it will sell out.

We really look forward to a night of connection and celebration of the organisations and volunteers whose passion and commitment create this vibrant community.

We are thrilled that the Stars of Teignbridge Awards are returning for the third year. The awards celebrate the organisations and volunteers that make
such a difference to our community.

The event will take place on Friday 23rd October 2026 at Teignmouth Pavillions.

The last two award ceremonies have been a great celebration of our vibrant community and this year promises the same mix of inspiration, connection and celebration.

It’s been a bumper year for the Teignbridge Lottery so far, with another £250 winner this weekend!

This year, we’ve already celebrated one jackpot winner who scooped £25,000, one £2,000 winner, five £250 winners, and more than 80 £25 prize winners.

Our lottery plays a vital role in supporting local services and charities across Teignbridge. Since launching in December 2022, it has grown to support over 100 good causes — from swimming pools and scout groups to community transport schemes.

For every £1 ticket sold, 60% goes directly to good causes in the district — 50% to a cause chosen by the player and 10% to a central fund supporting the wider community.

Draws take place every Saturday night and each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance of winning, with a top prize of £25,000.
