Every member of staff across Eat That Frog Group is amazing and we are lucky to have so many people who go above and beyond every day.
Today, we celebrate Richard, Maths Teacher at our Plymouth Pathways centre.
Richard has been with Eat That Frog for one year, after first working with us for three months through an agency. In that time, he has made a real impact on learners and the wider team.
Richard is a fantastic tutor and it is a joy to observe his sessions. During EHCP reviews, learners regularly share that they feel they learn so much from Richard, even during cover sessions.
He takes the time to understand each learnerโs needs, carefully reviewing EHCPs and adapting his teaching so that Maths feels accessible, personal and achievable. For one learner with a visual impairment, Richard proactively arranged large-print resources, large-print stationery and access to an online calculator to support them fully in their learning and exams.
Richard has also brought creativity and innovation into the centre through Microsoft Whiteboard, creating personalised learning spaces that reflect each learnerโs interests, needs and learning style. One learner who had previously struggled to engage with Maths became more confident after Richard introduced a game-inspired โhealth barโ system linked to something they enjoyed.
Richard consistently puts learners first, but he is also a huge support to the wider team. He is professional, reliable and always willing to help.
Today, we celebrate Richard for the care, creativity and dedication he brings to Plymouth Pathways. He is a real asset to both the centre and Eat That Frog.
