The Royal Mint Museum Short Story Competition is open to children aged 7-11 in education in the UK. Write a story of up to 500 words on the theme of 'gold', with entries accepted until 17 April. Prizes include up to £5,000 of library supplies for schools and libraries, the winning story professionally illustrated, and a real gold coin.

🚑 First aid training – First Response (Module 10A – theory)

Module 10A is the theory element of the First Response course. It is designed to equip adults with the skills and knowledge needed to manage an incident and provide basic first aid.

Delivered through a blended learning, facilitated session, this module will help you build confidence in responding calmly and effectively when it matters most.

🌍 Applications now open: TAITH Canada 2026

We’re looking for eight young adults, aged between 18-24, to join an unforgettable international adventure to Canada in summer 2026.

Applications are now open!

You must be 18 at the time of travel and not over 25 on 1 July 2026 so if you were born between 1 July 2001 and 1 July 2008, you’re eligible to apply.

We are especially keen to hear from those who might not usually have access to opportunities like this. This trip is about breaking down financial or personal barriers so that everyone, whatever their circumstances, has the chance to be part of something extraordinary.
