🏳️🌈 Youth Work Works! 🏳️🌈
As part of Pride Month, our young people have actively engaged in activities that celebrate identity, diversity, and inclusion - demonstrating the true impact of youth work in Wales. In line with this year’s Youth Work Week theme, “youth work works,” these experiences highlight how youth work creates safe, supportive spaces where young people can build trust, develop confidence, and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
Through participation in Pride events, young people have been empowered to express themselves authentically, stand in solidarity with others, and strengthen their voice within their communities. These opportunities not only celebrate who they are but also support their personal growth and wellbeing.
This is youth work in action - fostering positive outcomes, nurturing resilience, and enabling young people to thrive. Youth work works because it puts young people at the heart of everything, supporting them to reach their full potential while feeling seen, heard, and valued.
Fel rhan o Fis Balchder, mae ein pobl ifanc wedi cymryd rhan yn weithredol mewn gweithgareddau sy’n dathlu hunaniaeth, amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant - gan ddangos effaith wirioneddol gwaith ieuenctid yng Nghymru. Yn unol â thema Wythnos Gwaith Ieuenctid eleni, “mae gwaith ieuenctid yn gweithio,” mae’r profiadau hyn yn tynnu sylw at sut mae gwaith ieuenctid yn creu mannau diogel a chefnogol lle gall pobl ifanc feithrin ymddiriedaeth, datblygu hyder, a theimlo ymdeimlad gwirioneddol o berthyn.
Drwy gymryd rhan mewn digwyddiadau Balchder, mae pobl ifanc wedi’u grymuso i fynegi eu hunain yn ddilys, dangos undod ag eraill, a chryfhau eu llais o fewn eu cymunedau. Nid yn unig mae’r cyfleoedd hyn yn dathlu pwy ydyn nhw, ond maent hefyd yn cefnogi eu twf personol a’u llesiant.
Dyma waith ieuenctid ar waith - gan feithrin canlyniadau cadarnhaol, meithrin gwytnwch, a galluogi pobl ifanc i ffynnu. Mae gwaith ieuenctid yn gweithio oherwydd ei fod yn rhoi pobl ifanc wrth galon popeth, gan eu cefnogi i gyrraedd eu llawn botensial tra’n teimlo eu bod yn cael eu gweld, eu clywed, ac yn cael eu gwerthfawrogi.
