5 years on and still going strong. We were the 1st in Wales to open our squirrel drey and it’s gone from strength to strength.

Squirrels celebrate five years in Wales as ScoutsCymru marks the milestone and prepares to launch its first Welsh-language Squirrels Songbook.

It's September and that marks a big month for our smallest Scouts – Squirrels are turning five!

It’s five years since Squirrels officially became part of the Scouts family, and we know Dreys across Wales will be finding lots of ways to celebrate.

If you’re having a party, planning a special birthday activity or marking the big 5 in your own way, tag ScoutsCymru in your photos and posts – we’d love to see what you’re getting up to and share some of the celebrations.

Happy 5th birthday, Squirrels!

It's our birthday, Scouts! 🎉 🥳 ✨

119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset.

We’re so proud of everything our volunteers have done since then to give young people a place to belong. Thank you to you all! 🙌

This weekend we took our squirrels skiing to earn their snow sports level 1. It was great to see their confidence grow and their smiles beam when they managed a down hill slalom without falling over. Well done Squirrels. You really can do anything you put your mind too.

I’m after some long straight wooden poles for the group to do some pioneering projects. If you have any free or very cheap please let me know. Thanks
