We are extremely proud that one of our previous Scouts has been very fortunate to be selected to attend the World Scout Jamboree 2027 in Poland, and would like to ask for your help, so we will let Noa explain his own words...
"Hello there, my name is Noa, and I'm proud to be a part of Unit 5 of the UK contingent that will be attending the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Gdańsk, Poland. I was the first scout in my scout group to achieve my gold award in over 10 years, and now I am the first member to attend the World Scout Jamboree in our group's 80-year history.
This is a tremendous privilege to attend the world's LARGEST scouting meetup, which only happens every 4 years, where groups from around the world meet and share their culture, history, and together we experience the true meaning of Scouting. With over 40,000 people attending, it is truly a moment to be remembered, and I hope that by donating, you will be able to witness my travels from Risca, South Wales, to Gdańsk, Poland.
To raise the funds for this trip, I will be holding events ranging far and wide in an attempt to raise the funds. Documented here on my GoFundMe page, you’ll be able to see what I'm getting up to every month and see how far I get to my goal. So I ask, please donate.
