💜 PLEASE HELP US SHARE THIS 💜

Grief can be one of the loneliest journeys we face.

Starting on Thursday 11th June, a new bereavement support group, Companions in Loss, will be meeting at The Sycamore Centre in Ty Sign.

This friendly and informal Bereavement Café offers a safe space for anyone who is grieving the loss of someone important to them. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, whether you wish to talk, listen, or simply be in the company of others who understand, you will be warmly welcomed.

📅 Second Thursday of every month
⏰ 12:00pm – 1:30pm
📍 The Sycamore Centre, Thistle Way, Ty Sign, Risca

☕ Enjoy a cuppa in a relaxed and confidential environment
💜 Share your experiences, or simply listen
💜 No pressure, no judgement, just understanding and support
💜 Run by caring volunteers with experience of bereavement

There is no need to book. Just come along.

Please help us reach those who may benefit from this group. Not everyone experiencing grief will see this post themselves.

This is what community support can look like.

Every day, perfectly good food is rescued from going to waste and redistributed back into our community — helping local families, carers, older residents and people facing difficult times.

The Pantri is here for you.

💚 Want to help someone else?
You can also “Pay It Forward” by purchasing a basket of food for another family or donating items to support the shelves.

💚 Businesses or individuals wishing to donate surplus food or support the project are always welcome to get in touch.

Happy Easter everyone.

We are closed for Bank Holiday Monday.

Our team will still be in the shop sorting deliveries and getting everything ready for when we reopen tomorrow as usual.

If anyone is in need of emergency food support during this time, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

The Pantri will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday but open as usual on Tuesday — and there will be lots of bargains waiting for you then 🛒

This Easter we’re also taking a moment to reflect on how all of this started and how far things have come over the last six years, thanks to our volunteers, supporters, and the community around us 💛
