🌱 LOOK WHAT ARRIVED AT THE PANTRI ON MONDAY🌱

Fresh vegetables, family essentials, frozen meals, healthier options, vegan products, children’s foods and even a few treats too 👏

This is what community support can look like.

Every day, perfectly good food is rescued from going to waste and redistributed back into our community — helping local families, carers, older residents and people facing difficult times.

The Pantri is here for you.

You can also “Pay It Forward” by purchasing a basket of food for another family or donating items to support the shelves.

Happy Easter everyone.

We are closed for Bank Holiday Monday.

Our team will still be in the shop sorting deliveries and getting everything ready for when we reopen tomorrow as usual.

The Pantri will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday but open as usual on Tuesday — and there will be lots of bargains waiting for you then 🛒

This Easter we’re also taking a moment to reflect on how all of this started and how far things have come over the last six years, thanks to our volunteers, supporters, and the community around us 💛

Cottage pie, veg and tinned potatoes — followed by cheesecake for dessert.

These were just a few items from this week’s £5 Pantri basket.

Pantri Tip 💡

Try air frying tinned potatoes.
We did ours for 14 minutes at 200° on the air fry setting — delicious.

There’s a common misconception that Pantri food must be out of date. It isn’t.
Everything on our shelves is surplus food that’s in date, good quality, and perfectly safe to eat — often including recognisable brands, lunchbox items, fresh produce, and ingredients for proper family meals.
Today’s example:

Homemade rustic vegetable soup, fresh bloomer bread and butter — all from a £5 Pantri basket - along with so much more!
Enough to feed a family of six.
