Our Family Liaison Service is holding its annual Information Day at Serennu Children’s Centre on Friday 16 October.

Come along and meet Sparkle’s Family Liaison Officers, alongside organisations offering information, advice and support to children and young people with disabilities and their families.

Organisations attending include ISCAN, Ready Steady Go, National Star, ADHD+, Carers Support, Citizens Advice, Hope GB, SNAP Cymru and SPACE Wellbeing, with more joining us on the day.

Sparkle is delighted to offer our popular private hire sessions and birthday party packages to both members (registered Sparkle leisure families) and non-members (Families not registered to Leisure but supported by Sparkle).

✅ Up to 3 children per session

Registered Families: £45
Non-Registered: £58.50

Available:
• Mondays: 4.00pm to 4.45pm
• Fridays: 4.30pm to 5.15pm
• Saturdays: 9.30am to 10.15am or 3.30pm to 4.15pm (depending on the week)

Private Sensory Room Sessions 🪩
A relaxed and exclusive sensory experience for the whole family.

✅ 45-minute session
✅ Up to 5 individuals per session

Registered Families: £21
Non-Registered: £27.30

Available:
• Fridays: 4.30pm to 5.15pm
• Saturdays: 9.15am to 10.00am or 11.45am to 12.30pm (depending on the week)

Birthday Parties 🎈
Make your child's special day unforgettable with our exclusive party options:

• Playroom Hire: £100 per hour (Registered Families) | £130 per hour (Non-Registered)
• Swimming Pool Hire: £180 per hour (Registered Families) | £234 per hour (Non-Registered)
• Rebound Facility Hire: £180 per hour (Registered Families) | £234 per hour (Non-Registered)

All party bookings include complimentary use of an additional room for up to 1 hour after the session for food, cake and presents.

We loved having the opportunity to showcase Sparkle as part of a recent visit to Serennu Children’s Centre from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH). 💜

RCPCH President Professor Steve Turner and colleagues visited Serennu to see first-hand how health, social care and third-sector organisations work together to support children, young people and their families.

For us, it was a chance to share the part Sparkle plays in that – from the services and activities we provide to the welcoming spaces families can enjoy at the centre. Professor Turner even got to experience the sensory room for himself! 😊

The visitors described Serennu as a 'truly unique and special place', and we’re proud that Sparkle plays a part in making it one.

Hari has been part of the Sparkle community since he was two years old. Over the years, his family have attended parent and child sessions, seasonal events, MediCinema screenings and used the centre’s play spaces. More recently, Play Club has become an especially important part of Hari’s journey.

It's stories and experiences like Hari's that are at the heart of Sparkle, and this is why donations and funding mean the world to the families who access support and leisure activities.

Sparkle needs to raise over £850,000 every year in order to keep vital services like Hari's Play Club running.
