Pregnancy and Planning for a Baby Survey Understanding where people go to get their information.

Local partners working together to improve health and reduce health inequalities under the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Local Maternity and Neonatal System Equity Strategy, are looking to better understand where people go for information when they are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.

The survey is open to anyone, planning a pregnancy (planned or unplanned) and or are currently pregnant, live in Nottingham City or Nottinghamshire County. It only takes a few moments to complete, and your support will help us improve information and make it more accessible for local families.

Ollerton & Boughton Family Hub have been working in partnership with Murphy’s, ATTFE College and Gardens for Giving to develop the Family Hub garden. Thanks to their generous support including donated time, resources, plants, and specialist expertise the garden is being transformed into a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable space for our families.

There are still a few finishing touches to complete, but it won’t be long before we are ready to open the garden and begin using it with our families. We’re excited to share this wonderful space very soon.

We had a fab time supporting the CaroMax Community Fun Day on Saturday at Cleveland Square.

We met lots of families who created some beautiful pebbles and clay creatures at our table.

A couple of the pebbles are looking for their owners and were left at the end of the day when drying. These can be collected from Newark Family Hub if wanted 😀

Buying a suitable and safe car seat for your baby is an important decision. You’ll want to make sure that you buy the best option for when your baby is tiny but also as they grow bigger and the range of seats available can be overwhelming.

It’s much safer for children to travel rear-facing as long as possible, and to travel in the back seat. Some seats offer rear-facing for up to age 4 or even 6. Not all car seats fit all cars. Before you buy, check if the seat will fit your car and your child. If not, it’s not as safe.
